Canvas Board
The term ‘canvas’ refers to any type of surface upon which paint is applied. It may be made of wood, paper, fabric, plastic, metal, glass, or even stone. In the case of oil paints, the canvas is usually stretched over a wooden frame. Acrylic paints are not traditionally painted onto canvases, but rather directly onto walls, floors, ceilings, etc.
