Shivali Dhaka is a self-taught, freelance artist as well as a poet. Painting once initiated as an interest gradually became an inner urge to quench her artistic quest. Out of aesthetic sense she finds immense appeal and beauty in natural and cultural surroundings which she weaves into colorful verse on canvas. She explores imaginative world too, that is mingled with realism in her art work. Her paintings have been displayed countrywide in group exhibitions.
She keeps contributing for welfare of underpriviledged children and society through her creative efforts in every possible way she can on the humanitarian grounds. She is a member of Shilp-Srujan foundation that works for education and over-all developement of underpriviledged children in Jaipur
